HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Included in these pictures of the beautiful snowfall on the farm is a picture of the Woolly Bear caterpillar. This picture was taken mid November and according to the Old Farmer's Almanac, the longer the middle brown band, the milder and shorter the coming winter; the shorter the brown band, the longer and more severe winter will be. This woolly winter predictor and others I noticed had large brown bands. Mild winter? That would be heavenly!
